Dinner Conversations.

I love when we are not running crazy and make sure we sit at the table for dinner. Last night dinner was running late. We had to get school supplies for the boys. High school is so different from Elementary school. They tell you what to get the first day of school and you need it the next day. Plus they supplies are way more $.

Anyway, dinner was ready @ 7:oo pm. Set the table and time to eat Chicken Alfredo. YUMMY.
As we sat the kids talked about the day they had at school. I new we needed to do FHE "Family Home Evening" so I tried to rush everyone. As I looked at them telling about their day and laughing I realized I wanted to sit and here more. FHE could be another day. We had a friends daughter over who said to me " Shelly I like this" I just smiled.

Avery talked about how much she likes her teacher. She also told us about a boy who already wants her to be his GIRL FRIEND,, say what?? oh no! not on the first day. Lord please help me..

Travis talked about his Teachers. His friends and girls. He also wants Time release for Seminary. LOL 6 am comes early.

Aaron was not happy to have a different lunch then his buddies. I asked him if he wanted me to get them to change it, he said no he is fine. Then the truth came out "GIRLS" he is setting at lunch with two girls..

As the kids put food away. We talked about the Teachers they have all had, Ones they loved and ones they don't. It was so fun to here Shelby and Aaron talk about the Teachers Travis has that they have had, Laughing and yelling WHOOT WHOOT!!

I then looked at the clock and it was 9pm. I was happy we took the time to just hang. I never leave my dishes in the sink but I did last night. As your kids get older you are sad but then as they get older you can still have great times. It is priceless moments like these that you hold onto.

I am Grateful for my family. I am Grateful for the Gospel. I know that having the Gospel in our everyday life's helps us grow stronger as a family and with it we can get through ANYTHING.
