Ty's home for two weeks

Ty came home for two weeks from Boot Camp. We went to the Airport. He looks so good in Uniform. This boy is always trying to gain weight??? Did I give birth to this kid??? LOL!!

Ty and Kylie-- We have the best daughter in law. We love her so much and she fits in the family very well. Kylie is so good for him and Ty is so good for her. Baby??? No not yet.. But I can WISH!!! That baby will be very cute!!

Ty is loving the Army. He is so happy to serve for all of us. Ty has always been active and loves to work out, so this is great for him. He will graduate in February and I can not wait to see him then. They are excited to travel and see the world. Mom and Dad love the idea of visits... He said so many people thanked him in Atlanta and on the plane. They even gave him food.. At our airport so many people came up to him and thanked him too. I LOVE THAT!!!

I am behind a little

This October my sister and I took our girls to the October Fest Down Town.
We had so much fun. We paid $5.00 Dollars for them to do everything. It was full of things to do, from Arts and Crafts- Games and Rides. The pic with the leaves falling felt like a movie. You know that movie-Small town-At the square- all the kids running around having fun in costumes- then the leaves start to fall to the ground very S L O W. It was so cool...
Avery got her pic with the Prescott Rodeo Queen. "Highlight of her life" She told her she hopes to be one herself someday and also Barrel race. She is so cute!! Avery loves to ride.
Avery and Erica at the square.

We got done so fast. We had Shelby, Lydia and Melissa go to the next game and stand in line. People said you all are sooo smart... Yep!! Thats me and my sis. We are very SMART.. LOL

This is the Harvest Festival at her school. She had so much fun. She is a Ballerina Mouse. Her idea all the way..

So many of you have asked me why I have not been on my blog. I just have been sick and not enough time. So thanks to those of you who like to read my blog. I have so many updates to do, so keep a look out.

Fall Break Day Trip

We had so much fun going to the Grand Canyon. Steve hiked down a little with the kids. I went a little and then I had to stop. I miss hiking with the kids. Before I had Major Back Pain, we would go on a hike, take a picnic lunch, go camping at least once a month, play sports and much more. As the kids get older it is hard to get everyone on the same day. We always have something going on. That is why I loved this day. We did not have Ty or Kylie with us and we did think of them and missed them. I just love to look at the Grand Canyon. I never get bored. Steve get's so nervous that one of his kids will go over!!!! It was Avery's first time seeing it, she loved it! The boys and Steveand Avery, want to hike all the way in some day. I would love that. I have seen pics of down in the Canyon and it is beautifull. My mom went with us and she had a great time with her grandkids.

After the Grand Canyon we went to the Snow Bowl. It is so pretty to see all the leaves changing for the Fall. The weather was great that day. The sky was so clear.

? from Ave.. Mom do Indians still live in The Grand Canyon? Yes!! Can we go see them? No!!! Why?? Ask DAD!!!

Just put my house, HERE>>>>
I don't know about you but that looks like PARADISE to me!! :)
P.S. With horses running wild of course.. LOL

We love Apen Trees. They are Steve's favorite... Try to go next year.. The trip is worth it...

Boot Camp

Ty is now in South Carolina. He is completely bald. LOL He is ready to get going on his training. Steve and I talked about the world and all that is going on. I said to Steve " Our SON is now a SOLDIER and is keeping all of us safe and fighting for our FREEDOM. So we all can have a safe Country and people can't get their life together." Then I started to sing " Have I done any good in the world today" I love that song!

Try to make the best out of everyday. Some might not agree with the war but we need to support our troops. Let us all be better citizens. Love your Husband with all you have. Be a great parent. Do all that we can to help others. Be happy with what we have.

Moving on!

We have been blessed with five wonderful children. They are growing up so fast. I sometimes wish I could get the old days back (TEARS) The days of Mommy can you lift me i can't reach.
I remember Ty running around the house in his Batman costume, me yelling "Go Out Side" then laughing so hard because he always would make you laugh. Ty is full of energy. If I could have a small amount of that I would accomplish it all in a day. LOL I love to look at his baby book and see how he has grown. Once a Cowboy, then a Ninja Turtle. He was always a supper hero and now he will not only be my little SUPER HERO but the Army's as well. I have had a ruff couple of weeks knowing this is what he should do but just thinking of him so far away is killing my heart (more tears) we are so proud of him and in his choice to serve this great country USA. I know he will do well and he will be safe but it still is so scary thinking of him at war and not being an hour away to his rescue. I just keep praying to our Heavenly Father " please take care of my baby. Keep him safe and always remind him of my love for him. Amen."
I am so grateful to have a son who loves his parents, tells us everyday how much he loves us and his sibling.
Only thing left to say is " Ty be safe, always be true to you and keep a pic of mommy with you at all times. LOL

EIGHT IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!

Horse, horse and more horse. Our beautiful girl loves to ride horses. She is so good with them. Avery is not afraid of this big ANIMAL- she is such a natural at it!
What a "COWGIRL" she got red boots for her birthday and loves them.

We love this little "BUGGIE" so much. She has a great personality and loves to laugh. I love to watch her play house, play dress up or get dirty outside. Avery can be a girly girl or be dirty like a boy. That was how I was. You can tell she is such a sweetheart when she gives you that beautiful SMILE. We are so happy she wants to get baptized. Steve and I love how she likes to ask about the gospel and always wants to learn more. One Sunday she said "Mommy, I want go up and talk about Heavenly Father and my love for him like you do" WOW ! I never thought that was what she was going to say. She did such a great job. I love having her in my life. Avery completed our family. I thank my Heavenly Father every day for my family and for the time we share together. I am grateful to have God in my life.
The best times are quiet times. I love to look at my children when they are sleeping. Always remember they are a GIFT to you from your Heavenly Father.

EIGHT IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is what Avery would say.

What do I do all day...

The other day someone asked me what I do at the school and do you work? UMMMM!!!! At the school I said. I volunteer at all three schools my kids attend. I am S.I.T.E. President at two of them. I have a job at a scrapbook store and I also teach classes there. I help out Amie Cobb and the BMHS Band. I am on another committee at the High school. I have two callings at my church well three with Visiting Teaching. I have FIVE children all going in different directions. I am the CEO of my house, cleaner, chief, day care provider, car service, tutor, laundry service and much more.

I would not change a thing I told her, her eyes bigger then the size of her head. Oh i forgot something! she said what. The most important thing ever... A loving wife and mother.

I love what i do and would never change it! I will only add more... LOL..... :)

First day of a great year.

Back to school again. Aaron is in the 10th grade. He is getting so tall and is such a great kid. He has the best SMILE. We talk a lot about going on his mission and what to do to prepare. He wants to take Spanish for three years and hopes to maybe do a Spanish Mission.
Travis is in the 8th grade. This Summer he started to get taller and skinny. He wants to go to High School. Travis is so funny and always makes us GIGGLE.

Avery is in the 3rd grade. She loves school. She is getting so big and is one of the tallest out of her friends. Avery loves her Teacher and her room. I am always at her school. It is such a friendly place and always welcomes you. The Principal cares for your child and your concerns. Its FABULOUS.

Steve gave them all Back to School Blessings. I love that he does this. I don't have to tell him too. He has always done it. The kids like it as well. They all say it makes the day better. I know it is not me getting it but it helps me as well. Shelby is done with High School but Steve gave her a special blessing. It was great!
We hope to have a great Year! It is hard having them grow so fast, but it is way fun having MOM time with no kids at home... MOVIES- LUNCH- CRAFTS- and more.

What do you really want?

I had the T.V. on the other day. The topic was on kids going back to school. It was so funny!
Questions-
Do you really want Summer to be longer?
Do you tell the truth?- Or you really are HAPPY that school will start soon?
Are you that MOM that only tells her close friends she can't wait for school to start. Kids fighting all Summer! And tells other she wants Summer to go on..

Don't ever feel bad that you want School to start. As I have had many Back To School Day's. Sometimes you are ready and sometimes you are not.

Just live day to day. Be true and stay SANE.... LOL

She did it!

We are so proud of Shelby. She has worked very hard to Graduate. Now she will be moving on to create new memories. It is time for us to let go a LITTLE lol and let her start to grow on her own. As a mom I have been crying all week long. I know she still lives with us but my LITTLE LAMB is growing up. She could marry now and start her own family. I hope as she goes on her new Journey she will reflect back on her memories and grow closer to her Heavenly Father and always remember he is close by. I know Shelby will be a wonderful wife and mother. We thank all our family, friends, and youth leaders for helping us create a great girl. We now hope she goes to college for a while. This will help her grow in many ways.
I helped plan and attended Grad Night UNTIL 3 am....It was cold but they had so much fun! Seeing the youth having fun was the best part. They all look so young to me.

Time goes fast

Our oldest son Ty is now 22 years old and is such a great young man. I was thinking of him and all the fun times we had when he was running around the house hipper in his Batman cape. He loved Ninja Turtles, and always made us laugh. He always wanted to do fun things and to be with his Mommy.( trying to wipe away my tears) It is very hard to let him move on but at the same time being so happy for him as he makes good choices in life. He has such a big heart and loves his family deeply. I have great memories of going to the park. Coaching his Soccer teams and Baseball teams. Being outside and playing with our dog. Teaching him how to swim. Saying our Prayers together. "Hey mommy will you play with me" How I would love to here that little voice one more time. Killing spiders for him. Letting him sleep with us because he had a bad dream. Holding him because he wanted to cuddle. Kissing his owies, making them better. Watching him sleep when he was sick. Taking a look at him so I can always remember that moment. Thanking my Heavenly Father every day for having him in my life..

Now we are in a new chapter in life. Making new memories that will last a life time. As I think back to the days of being frustrated. I am so happy we did not have many of those. Loving life and being a mom was my best times.

I love you son with all of my heart!

Easter Pageant

After we colored Easter Eggs we went down the hill to go to the Easter Pageant. We stopped at the best Mexican food in town"Carolina's" and took that to the Temple to eat and wait for the Pageant to start. The Plumbs saved seats and other family members came as well.

I love going to the Temple. We had such a great time being together and watching the Pageant. We did have some protesters. It is so funny to here why we are not the true church.

1. Did you know we sacrifice children.
2. We do not believe in Christ.
3. Joseph Smith deceived us all, he was a smart BOY again"BOY"
4. The women of the church are PROPERTIES? Not in my house.....

They are so funny! Just pray for them. That's all I have to say about that....

Day Of Fun

On Friday we colored Easter Eggs and the Herbs came over. I love coloring Eggs. The older kids did not want to help out. That just meant more eggs for us to color.

Talking with our kids

Our family was sitting and talking about the future. I was so happy to know that they have a plan and church is part of that plan. As your kids get older and they start to make choices it's great when they talk about the spirit guiding them.

Ty is a Message Therapist and is in pre-med school. We are so proud of him. He tells us all the time about his goals in life and he really knows what he wants at age 21.

Shelby is going to graduate this year and her goal is to marry a Dentist After his schooling and in the Temple. Shelby is so funny! but she really wants to marry a Dentist..... At least she knows what she wants!!

Aaron wants to be a Doctor as well. He hopes to be a Surgeon. He would like to attend a local college after his mission.

Travis hopes to work for NASA. He has always loved Science. When he goes on his mission he hopes he can take a train to his locations.

Avery just wants to be a mom. I told her a mom is a great choice. A mom has a lot of jobs at the home, knows how to do them and doesn't have a class to teach her. She then asked if Heavenly father will help her be a mom like her mommy. How great is that??? I told her he always helps those that ask. Then she said can i still go to college? All the kids said YES!!!

Steve and I hope our kids always look at the future with the attitude "I CAN DO ANYTHING WITH THE LORDS HELP"

PERSONAL WALKER....

OKAY! So I told you all about my dad driving off when I was getting in the car. Well yesterday I let the dog in and the rug slides under my feet. I then try to brace myself with my other foot- I did not know the dog's BONE was on the ground- YES!! I fell once again on my left side. Travis was in the room and he came to my rescue.... I think I need a PERSONAL WALKER.... So if I start to fall they will catch me..... LOL Can my visiting teacher's please bring me dinner's???? HA HA HA!!!!!!

Monday, March 9, 2009

The kids had so much fun hanging out at home. As soon as Avery woke up she had her shoes on and her kite, she was ready to go outside. Travis wanted to show me his fort. So we all went out side. "Come on mom run after me and take a picture", said Avery. My hole body hurt but I ran after her. Travis wanted me to sit in his fort. Later I started to make lunch, Avery wanted to help. She loves to help me in the kitchen. All of the kid's came into the kitchen asking me why I was moving funny. Well I said, Avery and I went with Muga and Papa to go see Connie's new house. As I was getting in the truck Papa started to DRIVE OFF, VERY FAST! Muga was yelling Myrlon! Shelly is not in... Over and Over. I was trying to jump away but I had one leg in the truck and my foot got caught under the seat. Avery was yelling HELP MY MOM! Steve was on the other side getting in the van, he ran over to help me as I started to fall face forward to the ground. LOL!! So today I feel like a truck ran me over HA HA!! My pore dad felt so bad. The kids tried not to laugh and I told them " Go on laugh I think it's funny too"! So we laughed about it all day. Papa almost ran mom over!!!!!

THIS STATE!!!

OKAY, What are they thinking? How long is it going to take to create this new budget? Are they ever going to figure this out? I am so happy to live in a STATE that supports education. I am really looking forward to not being the 47th state and being the 50th in education. Could we get any worse? Please write your local leaders and let them hear your voice. POWER TO THE PEOPLE! HAHA..........

Up Date

Yes! I now have a face book. Thank you to all my friends for your comments on the blog - TXT's- and emails encouraging me on. I really got on to look at all of yours and signed up not knowing it and now I have Face book. I can't believe how easy it was and how many friends responded to it. Now I just need to keep up with it all.

FACEBOOK

OKAY! OKAY! OKAY! Everyone keeps asking me when I'm going to get on Face book. Shelby and Alanya have been telling me about this for at least a year. I don't think I will be able to keep up with everything if I add one more thing. Tell me friends, why do I need to have a Face book when I have A blog? What is so great about it? So my friends those that have it all. CONGRATS! I really like getting on and seeing all of you. I just don't know if I have the time..... As most of you know, I DO NOT have patience for the computer. I am getting better! I will wait to here from you all and think about why I should try it.

CRAZY PEOPLE!

I was in target the other day and this lady had three kids with her. Her baby was having a MELT DOWN! We have all been in her shoes. So this older lady came up and asked her "DO YOU NEED HELP!" WHAT! Did she just say that? The mother just looked at her and said NOTHING. I thought of many, many things I could say.......... Then the older lady said " IT JUST LOOKED LIKE YOU NEEDED HELP DEAR" and then told the kids "mind your mother now". WHY, WHY, WHY do people do that? YES! it was hard but I held my tongue and walked away.

Thank You

This Morning I got up at 5am to get the kids off and I started to think about my husband Steve. I am so blessed with a great man. I need to thank him more for all he does for us. This man will clean the house,do the laundry and take care of the kids. He does such a great job of helping me out and the best part is "I don't always ask, he just does it" It has been a hard year for the family but we will get through it.I am very great full for the love of my husband and children. The friends in my life are the best! You guys always know what I need. THANK YOU!

What a Week!

Wow! What a week. The Scrapbook den is now Scrap-Book-Ish and has moved. We are now on Willow Creek and Rosser. It is much.... bigger, come check us out.
I have not had time to check my email, read or eat chocolate ( well maybe I ate CHOCOLATE)
Steve got home today from work and the car broke down. I am sooooo happy he can fix it. I can only say " BRING IT ON SATAN you will not get the best of me" I went over and had lunch today with some Friends and all I can say is we all need each other. I know more families are looking at moving out of the area "NO JOBS" We all can relate. We just need to stay focused on the bigger picture. Stay Positive I keep telling myself. I could really use an all day girls day, that means shopping, movie, pedicure and lunch of course. I need someone who is creative to plan this. I just can't do anymore thinking at this point!!!!
Happy Day to you all,
Shell Bell

2008

WOW! WHAT A YEAR!!! We have had some hardship but LOTS of BLESSINGS. We have lost some love ones, my Cousin Pauline & my Uncle Russel. We will miss them but look forward to seeing them again.

Steve and I both went to Girls Camp as cooks. That was a blast!

We had a great vacation to San Carlos, Mexico with the Herbs in July. We all had a great time, the kids loved it as well. The trip home was not so great. We had troubles with our Van, well let's just say we pulled into the garrage and the Van died. Then we had no electricity at the house"it came on the next morning".

Then Steve left for Camp Geronimo with the boys. He has so much fun with the youth and he is good at it.

The kids all started back at school. Shelby is a senior, Aaron is a freshmen, Travis is in the 7th grade and Avery is in the 2nd grade.

Steve lost his job- Steve got a new job.

Ty moved to Surprise,Az and is going to school for Pre-Med: We are sooooo Proud of him.

Shelby is Color Guard Captain- and loves it.

The other kids just love everything and do lots of sports, as for me I still work at The Scrapbook den and I am a designer and event coordinator. I love it! I am still always at the schools
